Our beliefs make or break our lives. It is our thoughts and conclusions about the society, traditions, and experiences that help us come up with beliefs. Fight with your negative beliefs. When you are ready to accept to live alone, why do not accept the fact that you are made to enjoy life in the company of someone from your same gender. May be it is God or the universal power that has decided and you can go in this path as there are so many people who have already gone in this way. You are not the first one. Do not punish yourselves. Get the best out of your life. Let not your beliefs be detrimental on your happiness. Look around at the world and develop positive beliefs.

Everything happens for a reason, including loving someone. Gay, straight, Bi, whatever, can experience love and have love until they die. You only die alone, if you choose to die alone. I am not sure how you could be gay if it were against your beliefs, but ok; the point is your life is what you make it. Live, love and enjoy, and don't be afraid to be who you are!

Would it be better to pretend you were straight, marry a woman, have kids, and resent her for not being what you really wanted? Living a lie is much worse I think. I would rather live my life out alone with a bunch of cats (not that I am) than lie to everyone about who I am. I would also like to point out that "beliefs" are a changing thing.

If you are born LGBT, which is something you CAN'T change, and this conflicts with your beliefs, which is something you CAN change, I think the path is clear.
It is especially made clear when particular houses of worship decided we were no longer "fit" to worship there, just for being exactly as God made us. These same places promote the whole "love the sinner, hate the sin" malarkey when they obviously hate both sin and sinner.

Gay people experience love too. People just don't want to think that cause it doens't fit into their little boxes they've got worked up for people they don't understand.

They will never be alone. God Loves them.Their mate will love them. I'm sure they have family and Friends that loves them. Point -nobody will go unloved because of their lifestyle.

Maybe for fundamentalist Christians. But my religion says nothing about being homsexual, heterosexual, or asexual. There are FAR more important things to worry about, like war, murder, rape, abuse, and poverty.
