Why am I wasting time on yahoo answers?
I ask myself that same question every day that I log in. I came to Y!A because my husband introduced me to it in December of 2006. I checked out the pet catagories and answered a few questions and, eh voila, I was hooked. I came here to be an educator first, and a gamer second.
A month ago I decided to limited my time here to only answering questions on the care of pet rats, my specialty. Besides yourself Dani, and three other members here whom I highly respect for your ratty knowledge, I have found it very frustrating indeed to get out the right information to the puplic. Too many times the wrong info is chosen "best answer" because of voting. I just hope that these worse answers are taken with a grain of salt by others who are seeking pet rat information.
So why am I wasting time on yahoo answers? I'm freakin' addicted!!!! LOL! Lord knows I have plenty of other things to do around my home.............like taking care of my rats :) , and spending more time on my own rat-only forums.

The same is for me! I started when I wanted to ask a question about a virus! Since then I can't stop! Personally I like it here because I meet people from all over the world! It feels like you are not alone!

Because it's more entertaining. And I started an account to ask a question about my car and then I found P&S....and now you know the rest of the story.

I do it to get views on what is on other people's minds. I really hate when some people ask questions that are so easy to get the answer to yourself. I mean you are on the internet right? I also like to think of questions that will challenge the mind and make people think, this is fun and funny to get the responses.

It really is addicting, isn't it. Is your maid hiding where my maid is hiding?? In
the closet??? I have a lot of fun answering the questions and seeing what other
people have to say.
