OMG! I am 38 weeks and I freak out at the littlest thing. I have broken things, screamed, cried and even threatened to have my husband arrested because he didn't throw out a sandwich from his lunch box. Surprisingly he is still with me! This is my first child so I had no clue what to expect. I feel like the incredible hulk sometimes with my temper and mood swings. I can't get comfortable no matter what, when I sit or stand still he kicks so hard I cry, I have to spend 50% of my day walking around the house just so he wont kick. I can't sleep at night because of heartburn but if I sleep during the day nothing gets done around the house. Everyone says "don't worry it will be over soon" or "when you get stressed out just think of how wonderful it will be to hold him in your arms" That does nothing to make me feel better. The only thing that helps me is to write everything down in a journal no matter how mean or selfish or psychotic it sounds if I am thinking it I write it down. And every now and then I allow my self a good temper tantrum. As far as I am concerned I am pregnant so I'm allowed!

You are not alone. I wouldn't say I wanted to kill someone, but seriously hurt them, yes. It is the hormones, stress, physical discomfort, lack of sleep and anxiety. Don't worry, it should pass. Mine did as I got closer because the excitement of impending motherhood out shined the negative feelings. Good luck.
