my daughter 3 just hit her nose hard on the door handle (handles are very low) theres a lump and look like it is turning black could it be broken

At age 3 it is unlikely that she has a break. The boney cartilage is quite flexible in children, The signs are a distorted line of the nasal boney prominence. Difficulty breathing through one nostril ( this may also be due to any swelling) Dark rings under the eye on affected side indicate broken blood vessels but not nescessarily a broken nose. The only real way to be sure is via an Xray. To prevent complications at a later stage in her life get it checked now for safety sake.

usually for some reason when you break your nose you get black and blue under your eyes for some reason.. if thats the case take her to the ER.

it maybe broken ? if ur worried get it checked at the hospital . it may also just be bruising . Kids are pretty ressiliant .As i said tho if ur worried get her checked by doctor for peace of mind .

normally when you break your nose it bleeds A LOT. although i would recommend you getting her checked out she could have just fractured it not dispaced the whole bone.

she might have a nose bleed and the nose may look croked
