Solar Fire is what my astrologer uses and recommends. Do a Google on it to find the rest of that information.

There are quite a few software choices out there. Besides the usual Windows based software, a few are designed for a Mac and there's a few for PDA's.

Here's two sites with different men writing about the available software. Both sites offer software pricing at a discount.

I've used Matrix/Blue Star for years, so I am very used to it. For me, it has a very good international directory for towns in other parts of the world than the USA. In the USA, it offers many hospital locations in major metropolitan areas, as well as certain significant locations in some cities.

Other astrologers I know swear by SolarFire.

if all you need are calculations, I agree with the poster above... www.astro.com is perfect.

I am a professional astrologer and use www. astro.com for all my calculations (even though I originally learned how to do it by hand, pre-computer.)

You have to register, but it's free with no obligations.

You will find almost everything you need at astro.com for free. I would not purchase software while this excellent free site exists.
