Marketing is not selling products in the market. Marketing is all the processes and efforts which lead to sales of product in the market. I hope you understand the difference between the two. And PR is public relations which is a very important aspect of marketing. Since we are human being and we are selling to human beings thus relationships are very important. PR depends upon your personality in totality. Good PR leads to better negotiations, better deals. Thanks.

Public Relations mean making relations with public.
Marketing normally in business.
Guru Ji also need PR for name, fame, publicity. They get money from marketing of books, tapes etc.

selling the product in market is not called marketing.. for selling product we dont need separate place... marketing means making customer to use the product.. induce customer to buy the product.. pr means public relation..
