Does humanity need a saviour?

Yes, we need a Visionary that will give an ideology and socio-economico-spiritual philosophy to usher in the new from the brink of multi-faceted devastations.
We need a visionary who will give and guide over precise methodology of transforming oneself in order to be able to transform society.
We need a visionary whose ideas emerge from a revolution (speedy soci-economico-spiritual transformation) of oneself in order to effect this kind of "revolution" in society.
Or, has it arrived and who were not aware of??

The answer to this question is discerned in accord with how one understands the nature of the human condition and the ultimate meaning of human existence. The question also begs the further question as to whether the "savior" needed might be something merely human and worldly (a human person, an ideology, a political, economic or cultural system) or a divine or quasi-divine being.

I don't think we need a savior...but I do believe you need something to find hope in. That is what keeps up going through the hard times. It's hope. And I believe that is the most important thing that Christ gives to people who believe in him.

We all find hope and look forward to something...otherwise, what is the point to living.
