Probably you mean Hindu girl names.
These are based on Sanskrit grammer, which is most scientific of all languages of the world. In Sanskrit every word have a defined structure and meaning. Any addition or subs traction leads to a predefined meaning.

Hindu girl names also start with other vovels too like i/ee--Vani, Mandakini,Darupadi etc.
The grammer says that if you add aa or ee/i in specified situations all male noun words become female. The grammer also specify exceptions.

It is easy to say Aa Ja. like in Hema, Priyanka, Neha, Asha, Nirasha, Indira, Sonia, Sheela etc.
What about Juhi, Kishori, Swati, Poonam, Shveta, Shalini, Manju, Anju etc?

I think it is because in the phonetics of the indian languages, words ending with an "a" denotes the female gender, much like in spanish.

They also end with 'eeee'
The sound is open at the end of the name e.g. aa or eeeee so that u can keep callingggggggggggg

I think "a" denotes female name.

All the names do not end with "aa" like-Aarti,Surbhi,Shrishti,Aditi........But now question arises these all end with "i".....THEN...........What can I Do.I didn't made names of girl..But I will like to say-Good question.
