To KACL - apparently it's actually a Japanese Catholic school and as far as I can tell, has now been closed. Check your facts! Thanks.

To ColtheGooner - Faith schools make it a lot easier for youths to practise their religion though. Also, for Mahayana Buddhists, there are a lot of rituals and art that would be most welcome for Buddhist youth to see every day.

Samantha - because giving incorrect info is worse than giving none at all. Accuracy of the info is paramount if you want to help people. I did also say 'thanks' - so I remained polite.

I am a Theravadan Buddhist, and have been all my life, and I do not know of a Buddhist Faith School in th UK. But why would you want one anyway, as Buddhists our religeous practice is our way of life not just our faith. So no matter where you are or what you are doing you always follow the same path. (The Eightfold Path.)

I can't believe you were such a jerk to KACL and all the others. He was TRYING to help you! So what if he was wrong? It was a good guess. If you're going to sit here and be rude to those trying to help you, maybe you SHOULD go to your library.

I believe the Gyosei International School in Milton Keynes is a Buddhist school. I visited it some years ago. http://www.dfes.gov.uk/cgi-bin/performancetables/archives/shschool1_99?School=8266003.

Hope this is of interest!
