Gay men???? Now that would be interesting to see... doctors claim it is theoretically possible but don't breathe a word about it to anyone. Gay women??? Yes. In fact there was a court case recently because a lesbian was refused IVF to get pregnant so she and her female partner could be parents. I reckon if lesbians want to get pregnant they should do it the same way everyone else does....... with a guy! Doing the hanky panky.
Fortunately or unfortunately depending on your viewpoint, homosexuality is no longer a crime in most countries and more and more gays are coming out of the closet because it was too stuffy in there.
We have (in lots of places) had FREE BEACHES - clothing optional (read - nude!!!) for many years. I am surprised the gay community has not demanded beaches exclusively for gays. There are probably lots of Gay Only bars and maybe even Gay hairdressing salons but personally I think too much emphasis is being put on 'coming out and saying you are gay'. Maybe I should come out and tell the world I'm straight (with a 3/4 right hand twist and a kickback..... just to confuse everyone).
Now if all the closet drinkers would come out and get help....

Of course gays can get pregnant. The female gays at least but male gays can also parent children. There appears to be more gays than before because we refuse to stay in the closet anymore.

gays cannot get pregnant cos they are also guys but if u are saying that the gay population is growing, u r right cos in today's society, everybody seems to be getting more open-minded.
there are some who would like to try the life of being a gay, then there are some who want to be a gay and some who pretend to be gay. that's why the gay population are growing

Any female who no reproductive problems can get pregnant.
If a gay man and a gay woman were to have sex then he could get her pregnant.
The kid would most likely be straight. There are more gays in the world most likely because there are more people in the world and more societies have a greater degree of acceptance of homosexuality so more gays are more willing to come out.

Gay women can get pregnant but not the guys, of course. More and more people are realizing they are unhappy in their sexual choices and letting themselves try new experiences. If they find they like the alternative more than the previous, they will stick with it. After all, we are talking about personal pleasure and most humans will stick with what makes them feel best. I like your question pal - check my previous questions - the reason there are more homosexuals (I refuse to use the word you use, because it used to be a proper word with its own meaning in its own right and I resent it being hijacked by these deviants) in the world is because it's fashionable and politically correct and probably considered by some idiots as green aswell - but it all boils down to one thing - fear of the opposite sex and as I've said in my previous questions and Additional Details sections, I have personally heard how so called homosexuals and lesbians have become friends and ended up in bed together and then are surprised afterwards how they ended up having sex together!
To sum up - homosexuality is another word for fear - a phobia of the opposite sex and it is not normal, because like you have intimated in your question - homosexuals don't make babies. Want they are doing however, is making these damn sperm banks financially viable, because as they don't have children they are financially quite well off in the first place and in turn are encouraging men to be sperm donars who want to make some extra cash, which means there are more and more babies being born where the father remains anonymous, so these children don't know who there REAL father is, which in turn causes all kinds of identity problems, which is a VERY BAD THING INDEED!!!!
What is actually growing, is the number of children who don't have a proper biological father in a stable relationship with their bilogical mother! In other words a degredation of nature and normality, which as far as I'm concerned threatens the human race as a whole!
