Tori,

I can only answer in terms of MYOB. I suggest you look into the MYOB Bookkeeper programme, or MYOB Accountants programme.

If you purchase, say MYOB Accounting Plus - you can actually have up to 20 active and legal data files.

Now if you are doing the books for someone, they may have MYOB Business Basics, MYOB Accounting, MYOB Premier etc. If you join one of the programmes, within the subscription cost of joining you get access to all these programmes.

It depends on whether you are going to outsource the whole lot, or simple assist them in doing the books.

I would have though SAGE was for larger companies, not necessarily small business.

I would expect you would need to use exactly the same software version as your CLIENTS = why not ask them ?

For larger Companies, there's a good chance they can add an additional (Web) user to their existing package without needing to pass on any Licence costs to yourself :-)
