- beauty of a person: being down to earth, having sense of humor, kindness and most important respect.

For me beauty is synonym with natural, raw, imperfect.

Anything that human hands try to improve on, has automatically lost it's real beauty.

I also think that it's beautiful how someone we know has suddenly become a poet and a philosopher: now if that's not beauty, what is?

Personnaly I beleive in "inner-beauty",however(and I hate to say it but), lookind at the subject more through science than philosophy....its been proven throughout history that good symmetry and proportions contribute to what we perceive as beautiful. Even babies respond most positively to faces with pleasing proportions. It's been proposed that our ability to recognize what's pleasing to the eye is given to us from birth -- hence,it's in our DNA!

Good symmetry and proportions elude to the principle of survival.."survival of the fittest"....by nature, a human being or animal is attracted to another member of the species if that member is deemed a healthy survivor that will last and help create new and strong infants.(i.e. good strong healthy teeth,bones,good vision,not too short nor too overweight...etc).

Basically, the (a partner's) ability to perpetuate a species.

It's when your breath got taken away, sometimes, to the extent that you feel you want to cry but not sure exactly why.
In people when i see more humanity i see more beauty, and in nature, i don't know, sometimes the slightest things can make me feel the beauty, it also depends on your psychological and emotional status at the time of "beholding"

Anyone can be beautiful, if has enough money to pay a good surgery...........but still keeping ugly by inside.
Beauty is not a face.....a body...anything that one can modify as ones want...That is a lier beauty
