I will never quite understand how on a site where asking the question "Is being gay a choice or are you born that way?" will get at least fifty righteous answers educating the questioner on the fact that sexual orientation- gay and straight- is the way you're born, and definitely not a choice, we can still have people agree that the sexual orientation known as bisexuality is somehow not innate, but a choice, and thereby greedy.

I'm bisexual, and I've always felt that way. There's never been a conscious choice of mine on the matter, and I behave no differently than I would if I were a monosexual. The only difference is that I happen to feel attraction to both sexes. Now you tell me- how do you stop that? Isn't that like telling a gay person to simply choose to be straight?

My main point: no, bisexuals aren't greedy. If someone's greedy, it's them, not their sexual orientation.

Bisexuals, despite being attracted to both genders, don't fall for double the amount of people compared with homosexuals/heterosexuals. A bisexual falls for the same amount of people, but they are spread across both genders.

If in a given population, a heterosexual male falls for 6 women, and a homosexual male falls for 6 guys; a perfect 50/50 bisexual would fall for 3 males and 3 females.

A straight leaning bisexual (Kinsey 2) may fall for 4 females and 2 males. A gay leaning bisexual (Kinsey 4) may fall for 4 males and 2 females.

Nah I'd say they are just plain "curious and open minded". I used to be bi but more straight now a days. Mostly being bi is all about experimenting and In my opinion we have the better time ha x

no....because it`s confusing.
I chose to live in a heterosexual relationship, but I know I have feeling for women too and have had relationships with women in the past . I wondered for a long time whether I was in fact lesbian and in denial.....but realise that I am bi. I may never have another relationship with a woman, but the part of me that also desires women is still there.

No we are not greedy. We just feel an attraction to both sexes. We have monogamous relationships just like heteros, and gay couples.

I suspect many people are "bisexual", but, in our culture, it is inappropriate to admit to. This is different than being promiscuous, which, is greedy.

in my opinion, bisexuals are people who are "confused about their sexuality." I am constantly hearing the homosexual people saying that being gay isn't a choice, it seems to me that the bisexual community is mocking your beliefs because they are making it a choice. I also know women who aren't bisexual who have had sex with a woman to please their man. That's doing something you wouldn't naturally do for the sake of someone else. It's a choice.
