You are getting too much milk. You baby doesn't even need so much. A three day old baby has a stomach of the size of a nut and mostly its colstrum that coming out and not milk for the first three days. I have the same question. Why are you pumping? Are you exclusively pumping and feeding the baby by this? If you are breastfeeding then you don't need to pump because pumping will give you extra let down and this will make it hard for the baby to nurse on you. This will also make your breasts engorged and can create problems like masititis etc. If its exclusive pumping and storing for later then its OK.

Are you pumping out the milk? Why are you measuring? Anyway, that much production is fine. The stomach of a new born baby is very very tiny. The more baby will suck on your breast, the more milk will be produced. The baby's sucking will regulate the production of milk according to his hunger.
