I was very surprised to see adverts of knife weilding actors etc amongst the very serious news bulletin on the plight of our brave sailors currently held in Iran. Do you not check the sensitivity of such things?

I am not, the people in the street are not.

The news media might be responsible, or it could even be the Paparazzi telling lies to the media.

Personally I don't have any control over that.

Little effort is made in broadcasting especially news items that cannot be predicted to match commercials with content. Advertisers buy the air time not the content. An advertiser buying the news air time could have no idea in advance what the news would be. The broadcaster is in the same situation.
