I am looking to use Googles features such as Web accelerator, gmail etc, but want to know if they are any good, as i hear they are memory hoggers, and slow your pc down. Is this true???

you can use all software other than google talk and google earth

Gmail and Picasa are WONDERFUL and do not hog your memory. I haven't tried web accelerator.

yeah gogle features, especialy gtalk are memory consumer.
but I still use those. Dont find much problem with it.

yes they do if you have a big memory and fast pc its ok but is it worth it the simple answer is NO
