Platonic means relating to, or being a relationship, marked by the absence of romance or sex. If somebody tells you their feelings for you is strictly platonic, it means there's no sexual attraction or interest.

it means to just be friends, no romance involved.
Plato was a Greek Philosopher and he thought that society would function best if men and women didn't pair up, children would be born without the messy relationship bit and then brought up in state creches.

This is the adverb form of "platonic." If capitalized, it may mean "of or pertaining to Plato," the ancient philosopher. It may also refer to platonic (or Platonic) love, which is generally understood to mean love that is free from sexual desire or at least free from sexual intimacy (even if desire exists.) I hope this helps.
