Good for new customers, bad for exhisting customers, I am definately not renewing my contract, because the deals they give new customers far exceed those of exhisting customers

i have never been a 3 customer but i have friends who are and they have been happy with the service, my dad is in the process of changing to 3 due to the contract we have seen advertised which is £15 a month for life although i admit we need to check the t's and c's first the coverage down here is good pls bare in mind if you take out a contract and as a new customer you have the right to cancel with in 14 days if you wish and you dont even have to give a reason, you are responsible to pay part of the contract for example 5 days line rental if you cancel at 5 days but that would be it and it would give you the chance to try it and see what you think, i think everyone has good and bad to say about all networks give it a try and see what you think . goodluck

Well, i've been with 3 for nearly 3 years now and i can't be more happy with them. I've been with T-mobile, Vodafone and o2 before and 3 has the best coverage. I had had no reception with the others networks in my house but i got full coverage with 3. As for their service, nothing to complain about! I advised a few friends to move to 3 and they are also happier than with their previous networks.
I would definitly recommend 3!!!

I had a 3 contract and it was the worst mistake ever. I could never get a signal anywhere, even at home, despite my postcode being checked as super strong signal when Phones 4 U checked it out prior to purchasing. It took me many many letters, emails and phonecalls over about 8 months to finally get my contract cancelled, and then only after I threatened legal action and Watchdog etc.

Now some people may have great service, but personally I dont know anyone who had 3 who couldnt wait to cancel the contract. If you dont mind bad network coverage, cheap and nasty phones and downright awful and rude communication from India, then go for it!

I have had my 3 Mobile for about 2 - 3years and i love it.

I have had great reception in my local area, (Norfolk), better than i did when i was on Vodaphone.

I renew my contract every 18 months to get a better deal, the only problem i had was with the customer services. It is abroad and the call centre have to ring all the other departments to get answers which is frustrating.

So long as you can get coverage in your area, i would recommend it.

Good luck.

I was with 3 for about 5 months. They are the worst network company ever. They charged my mum extra money and on the bills it will say not charged than a price for the next call then not charged for the next call, and mine was free anytime, anywhere. As they charged more money my mum took my phone of me as if I was the one going over the amount of minutes and text I got. They refuse to stop the contract until the end of the year, even when you arent even using the phone they will still charge you until the full year is up

I took 2 contracts out with 3 network, one for myself and one for my daughter, and as other people here have already said theyre great for new customers, but if you're an existing customer you get ripped off, put it this way I won't be renewing my contracts with them.

i have to agree with timothy t, its a real rubish network......you will also need to pay a £25 fee if you want to down grade ur tarriff, this started in december and also add silly packages to your deal even if you don't ask for it and make you pay. i would never go to 3 network even if its free.
