Here how it is: A player is as good as he is. Everything else depends on the media and what they are saying about him. If you live in a place that's constantly talking about how great he is even while he is underperforming, then you will most likely think him an overrated player. But, in a place where you hear nothing of the sport and rate players only on what you've seen, then that player is as good as you know him to be. So, for some people, maybe he is overrated. In my case, he's as good as I know him to be, therefore making him non-overrated in my eyes.

please will all you idiots who know nothing about football stop answering questions like this. Its just proves how little you know about football.
What do you brainless people base your answers on?
I would never dispute his england form can be poor but his premiership form is second to none.
The guy scores 18 plus goals every season ( 20 this season so far). better record than any midfielder and 90% of the forwards. i would even go a far as best in europe to.
He is the only chelsea player in squad that rotates who plays every game when fit.
Surely with the millions chelsea have spent they would replace him if he wasnt good enough.
you cant base your opinions on england games.

Yet again someone is jumping on the bandwagon to slag off Lampard. How many other midfielders score 20 goals regularly? How many other players play as many matches as Lamps? Has Rooney done anything for England in the last two years...No, but no one slaughters him!! Gerrard has not exactly set the world alight either, in fact apart from Hargreaves no one has recently. If Lampard played for anyone but chelsea would he get the same criticism? Probably not.

I'm afraid to say no.
Any Player who has achieved what he has so far in his career deserves some credit.
At Chelsea he is Brill ( sorry cant say that word)
But i dont think any of the current Players in the England team understand their roles and that is down to the Manager I'm afraid.
And this is from a SPURS nut
