Top Gun was waaaaaay more gay simply because it had Tom "As Deep in the Closet as I can Go" Cruise! Trust me, there were PLENTY of women creaming their jeans over 300!

I don't think either move was "gay" per say.
I suppose if you break it down 300 has more a gay male might enjoy (unless they prefer uniforms and less blood).
one of the key elements is brotherhood. a tight bond between the male characters. Coming from a military family I would not say that implied homosexuality, but I can see how it can be misunderstood.
So which is more gay? 300, I guess naked men sweating and traveling in packs beats two guys in flight suits.
