Take them for a few days leading up to your test for full effect. You can also try taking rescue remedy on the day, it really helps.
If you keep failing your test due to nerves you can ask your doctor for beta blockers, but it's a last resort.
Failing that, a few of my husbands pupils have been to see a hynotherapist and passed successfully.
Good luck!

If you want to take Kalms tablets, then I would suggest a week before your test. I was so convinced 100% that I would not pass my test, (especially because the hour before my test I was unable to correctly perform a reverse park), that I thought I would put taking my test down to an experience and that I would know what to expect next time. I also had the 'worst' examiner. Imagine my delight when he actually said I'm pleased to tell you you've passed. I could have fainted there and then. Good luck with your test.

Dont, nerves are a good thing before your test, if you go in too calm then it'll go pear shaped from the off cos you'll be more confident than you should be.

Take you time and if you stall or do something silly take a deep breath and start again, you get 15 minor faults so long as you dont do something dangerous you should pass, your instructor would let you take your test if you are not ready

Kalms contain the same as the ingredients in herbal sleeping tablets so it stands to reason that they could make you too relaxed for your own good.

If you really want to take something, Avena Sativa (which is made from oats) would be a much better bet. It will help you concentrate and calm perfermance anxiety without affecting performance. Any health shop and some pharmacies will have this.

I wouldn't rely on any chemical assistance, it might go the other way and make you either dozy or overconfident. Try a good walk to work out some of the tensions before your test.

Also remember the examiner is not out to get you, if you're good enough you'll pass, simple as that; and they're used to nerves, they can tell if that causes you to make a simple little mistake and take it into consideration.

Your instructor thinks you're good enough, or he wouldn't have suggested taking the test.

Go on, go for it, take your test & pass with flying colours.

Kalms are ok before your test start a couple of days before your test, breath in deeply and think relaxing thoughts. Your instructor wouldn't put you in for your test if he/she didn't think you could pass. Other methods of relaxation are to meditate or having a nice warm bath before you go out and eat a good meal. Some nerves are a good thing, dont panic if you stall, check your mirrors plenty, if the worst happens you can always resit it its not the end of the world.

Depends on which tablets you take, might be worth starting them a couple of days before so they get into your system.

Good luck for the test x

Be careful taking something like that before your test as you could fail due to lack of alertness and loss of concetration.
Just be yourself. If you take something like that, what will you do when you are driving for real?
