How a person speaks has nothing to do with genetics. Language, that is, how you sound when you speak is a cultural phenomena. Even people living in a small country such as Norway, with a population of around four million, has various dialects. When you consider the population and size of these United States you can imagine that there has to be various dialects. People who grew up in the greater New York City area can often distinguish between Brooklynese and a Jersey City accent. Imagine the difference then between a white kid from North Dakota and a black one from South Central LA.
