Hey! Do you mean you're going to a gig @ Earl's Court?
If so, check the links below - the first one tells you how to get to Earl's Court, the 2nd one tells you about the tube station and the 3rd one is the London Underground website, so you can plan your journey.
Have fun! (no comedic attempts here, lol!)
xx Emmie
oh, p.s. - if you're going straight to Park Avenue, enter Park Avenue in the journey planner on the tfl website I gave you, and it should tell you the nearest tube stop and give you a map of directions! Make sense?!

Wow, no wonder you're confused! The Central line does indeed run through Liverpool street and there is a stop called Holland Park - wonder if this is perhaps what he meant? There are several streets called Park Avenue, but most of them are North London as far as I know, and non are near Earls Court.... If that's where you need to get to you'd be better off getting the central line to Holborn and changing to the Piccadilly Line which goes through Earls Court.
Think your friend may be better off giving you his address to be honest so you can plot your own route!

The underground station Holland Park is on the central line, is near Earls Court and is on Holland Park Avenue- could that be it?
My trusty A-Z tells me there are no streets called Park Avenue in that area, so I would imagine that would be it.
Do you have a postcode for the house? It would be W11 something for that sort of area.

As some people have said there's no "Park Avenue" near Earl's Court. If you go to streetmap.co.uk and use the button for London street and put in "Park Avenue" it will bring up loads - none of them are in the SW5 postcode area for Earl's Court
Good luck

Hmm, why not ring them and ask for clearer directions.
Yes Liverpool St Station onto the Central line, this will pass towards Nottinghil, Shepards Bush area, which is not far from the Earls Court area.
Good luck

Nobody's mentioned Park Lane by Hyde Park. Not really that near Earls Court but could be worth looking into. Look into the links given by previous answerees.

properly i visit respond to a number of your questions, the perfect and most inexpensive thanks to get round is in all likelihood by technique of both the tube (subway, underground) or by technique of bus. lodges in accepted London are many times really expensive, yet a very magnificent one is the Marriott on the thames which is reasonably accepted and extremely smooth. a superior teach is Billy Elliot, also Mamma Mia, or Oliver Twist. a very solid chinese eating position is termed The Golden Dragon and that's in china city. there's a set eating position called Pizza convey that is really delicous. that's compared to dominoes or round table, that's a suitable sit eating position that is reasonably affordable. There are some sights that should not be neglected: The London Eye (ideal on a sunny day), large Ben, Tower of London, Tate modern, Westminster Abbey, etc. yet another relaxing ingredient to do can be a cruise down the river Thames. those run really usually and in case you opt for a superior business enterprise may be really informative. There are golf equipment everywhere in the city, i'm no longer efficient of any names, yet im efficient the concierge on the motel will manage to allow you to understand that. wish that all of it is going properly and they have a very large time!

Well that would suggest Kensington or Fulham, but apparently there's no Park Avenue nearby. He told you to head to Park Avenue?
