I have studied Pure Math for 5 years. Havn't really studied Biology and not that much programming but I have analitical way of thinking. Thank you for answering!

I think you will be just fine! Bioinformatics is mostly maths and computing, The few pieces of information you need in Biology are certainly easier to pick up than basic Maths! The opposite would seem more difficult to me!

Bioinformatics are mostly applied to databases and the analysis of high-throughoutput results. The applications nowadays are in the fields of Microarray analysis and Proteomics. Maybe you could investigate a bit better on these fields. This page could help you:
