Some points i came up with is that poetry isnt constricted with all the english grammar rules and that it allows you to be free with your thoughts and write your emotions with an open mind.

since i was old enough to have breakdowns, poetry has been my therapist.........from reading dr suess and jack prelutsky, to writing it myself. poetry always puts me in a good mood, or at least allows my emotions to come out.

Poetries can be fun coz of its rhyme. It's good in the sense that you are able to put in so many emotions or descriptions in a line -unlike a sentence. You can put contradicting words together too in a poetry. It can reflect the very essence of us in just a few lines.

for me it is the representation of what you are and who you really was. why don't you try to make just one and find out.
actually, poetry has a lot of advantages to me, WHY? it brought me to the reality of life. try to read one with a very thoughtful meaning and you will find yourself into some kind of realization of the true meaning of what we called life.
