Your husband must stand up for you. In any case where the in-laws are attacking the wife, it is the husband's job to control his parents. There is almost nothing you can do personally that will improve the situation. You should certainly not get involved in petty squabbles that your sister in law is trying to start.

This is one of the reasons why I tell people not to get married. No matter how hard you try, some relatives will have a set opinion about you and there is nothing you can do to change it. Being married you have to learn to accept this and forgive alot. You can choose not to have anything to do with the in-laws however, that puts your apouse in a difficult position too.

Forget her, and just concentrate on your other half and make him/her happy...that's what matters!
Be polite around the inlaws..no matter how nasty and jugemental they get just cos of the brother in laws wife, she want's you to lose your cool, stay cool and if you can spend time with one or two of them without her around then they can see you for the person you are, and may spread a good word about you to the others.

Wife of your Brother-In-Law appears a back biter. She must be saying bad things to your in laws. You must speak with you In-Laws and make it clear that this Lady (wife of your Brother In Law) is a witch. She should not be trusted and what he says it is out of jealousy. Say to y our mother-in-law that this bad natured lady must be scafolded. Her tongue should be cut. She is untrustworthy and a bad natured woman. You should discount the impact of back biting against you . Good Luck.

What she does is what she does. After some reflection on what you could ascertain to contain any sort of truth in her words, it's up to you to make the necessary rectifications to whom and when and how you please. If it is simple rumor and or gossip on her part, with no truth to it whatsoever, look and see that 1 Peter 4:15 includes busybodies with murderers, in the very same breath as the word of God admonishes us to not suffer as doers of such things. Rest assured that what wrong she does will certainly find its way back on to her and if it means to just back off for a while and let them see her for what she really is, a jealous and insecure person, maybe even hateful, it won't take too long for someone else to be the prey of her stupid venom (especially when she sees that she no longer has any effect on you) I mean to say that even a barking dog, if ignored long enough will be smart enough to shut up. All you have to do is turn to God the Father in prayer about your problems, in the name of his son Jesus and watch you feel better. Add a little faith the size of the smallest seed on earth and he will give you the power and wisdom to remove this mountain of a problem as though it were a mere pebble.

Make everyone love you by being extra nice to them. just change the world and make it better. Get them nice things and cook for them and they will know that she is jealous about you and start favouring you instead.

Speak with your husband and have him mediate for you. You should stay out. If all else failed, speak to your in-laws and clear things up.
