if you were asking my personal opinion,
i prefer the previous over the latter.
the second sentence calls for a heroic death
being more noble than a Life full of fear.
the 1st one is more applicable for me generally
because Life itself implores a lot of heroism...
it's a struggle, both within ourselves & the outside world.
& to die cowardly(suicide) is not & will never be
a good solution.

Keep hanging on, Life is woth fighting for!

The first sentence is totally wrong, to include misspelling of dying as dieing. The concept is also wrong. It is a no brainer to live like a hero is better than dying like a coward, so why bother saying it. The second sentence however, is philosophical and causes people to ponder about how we view our values.

To die like a hero is better than to live like a coward.
Dying like a hero is better than living like a coward.
Both of your sentences have faulty parallel structure.

Well, they're both true. But the 2nd one is the nobler of the two. It reminds me of a line from "Braveheart" where William Wallace says to the Scottish army before their first battle with the English,

"Aye, fight and you may die...run and you'll live. At least a while. And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives...but they'll never take our freedom?!"

And he also said, "Every man dies...but not every man really lives."
