It somewhat depends on the type of investment property you have in mind. Corn fields will be a great investment at the moment. Have you seen the price of corn lately? Apartments might also be ok. Everyone getting foreclosed out of their McMansions will have to move back into apartments. Property in the hurricane belt may be a money looser because insurance coverage will break the bank. Commercial property might not fare too well. The economy looks poised for a recession.
