I'm not sure if this is a joke or what, but to me a centipede should be kept in a cage. If you don't want him to "walk all over you" then keep him in an enclosed space where you can watch him and reach him, but he can't get out. Centipedes are bugs and they have little intelligence, so there isn't going to be a way to discipline him more than you already have.

Didn't do your research before taking one in. It's the age old story. Centipedes were bred for fighting. It's probably too late for disciplining now. You have heard it before. You can not and I emphasize CAN NOT teach a centipede new tricks. I truly am sorry but afraid you will have to have him euthanized.

give him an asbo
if that doesn't work, there is a rare mongolian tribe that keep centapedes that are really unruly, throwing banana's at people, people at bananas, dressing lampshades up as famous people, playing jenga with fish fingers. completely out of control.
so what they do, to control them, is crush 4 viagra tables into water and then submerge the centapedes in the water for 23.43 seconds. then they are all rteally stiff and the tribe use them as book ends, legs for small coffee tables, rudementary drum sticks etc
i hope this helps

when my cat finds centepedes, he pulls off all their legs and leaves them in a little pile on the floor, then eats their body...and comes back for the legs later..tell ralph that if he doesn't straighten up, you're going to lock him in a room with my cat for 10 minutes. That'll straighten him up.
