I mean like i dont have a nerdy character, but i study a lot.
So when people ask me like whacha been upto , what you doing and stuff - I have to tell em i was studying, otherwise i would be lying ...
It makes me feel so weird in front of em , coz most of the time they would expect something like im partying and stuff.
And when i tell em im studying, they go like studying ????
Not they are bad people or have bad character, infact they are nice, but i feel like a weirdo.

It is better to be seen as a wierdo now, because studying will get you somewhere.
partying all the time does not pay the bills. So as you grow up you will live a good life. Who cares what others think, down the road they will be looking at you saying, I wish i would have studied that hard.

Hey, it's OK to be a responsible student. Good for you! I wouldn't term you as being weird. You may have a wonderful, successful future because of your inner discipline. Plus you don't fall the herd of sheep. That means you have principles & potential for a leadership position someday because you think and act for yourself in a responsible manner. Don't worry how they perceive you to be. It's all good.

it's a bit wierd, yes, but i'm in the same boat (i'm a grad student) -- and i know this for sure... the "normals" will be working for you someday, so don't sweat how odd it feels now.
just do what makes you comfortable with yourself (i have found myself at plenty of parties that i just decided to leave after some time because i didnt really want to be there)

oh no... you're not weird you're wise!... think of it like that and you won't feel too bad...it's a bit like seeing a glass half full instead of half empty.
You're the onely person who knows whats good for you, if the others don't think so its their problem. Don't stop studying because you think people think its weird...don't be pressured into doing something because you're afraid of what people might think of you... it could lead to destruction...

Good for you to avoid the temptation of partying... Don't let these peoples reactions get you down. Keep up the hard work and one day you'll laugh to yourself about all you've achieved for yourself and them still mucking around wasting thier lives
