is this just the best prog on BBC1... the one liners in it are SO funny.
its a real memory fest watching that tv prog!
do you sit and watch it going..

I have to admit that I was born in 1977 so don't remember as much of that era as older type like you! (Sorry) However, my wife and I LOVE it!! Last night was ridiculously funny with the one liners - I reckon it must have been a record night for them. One of the best has to be 'he's as fake as a tranny's fanny!' Beautiful.

Life on Mars is definately the best prog on BBC1 until the new series of Doctor Who starts on Saturday - after that it will be second best. Can't wait to see what happens in the final episode in a couple of weeks though.

well i was born in 1973 but am a huge nostalgia fan and yes it is absolutely wicked to watch all those fashions and decor from the 70's and i was so jealous when someone won Gene Hunt's Ford on Comic Relief.
And i also love the reconstruction of the old BBC1 globe

I was only 8 in 1973 but I remember being so excited by listening to Thin Lizzie (from last night's show) on TOTP - it's truely a trip down childhood memory lane for me!

I am one of those older types that remember the 70's very well.I recognise most thing, but i dont remember the seedy type of flat where Sam lives.. Brilliant time to spend your teens

Its one of the few programs I bother to watch, I was a kid at that time and its really bringing back a lot of memories! Last one next week :(

good program life on mars brings back memorys ie the mark 3 cortina i used to drive one as a taxi driver sad or wot around manchester where the program is based :)

it is..the line "this investigation is moving forward about as fast as a spastic in a magnet factory" in last nites episode is an absolute classic..had me in stitches!!!
