I am not sure of an answer to your question, but wish to invite your attention to the today's Hindustan Times, Delhi Edition (28 March 2007) Page 11 top most news item titled "Blind aviator has Miles to go" and read on Miles Hilton Barber, 58, who has taken up the task of becoming first blind man to fly halfway across the world, landed here on Tuesday with his aircraft. He is covering 13500 miles journey from London to Sydney. The news has his picture and that of his co-pilot.

Well, he is totally blind and actually flying, and your eyesight is just short of 6x6. What are you thinking? You have a solution find out ...contact meaningfuls...search the Internet thoroughly...and see for yourself where is lying the key to success of your "keen interest".

And yes, my best wishes to you!

Sorry dear, but i am afriad you are one of those guys who will have to choose some other career as specs are not allowed for the persons who wanna be a pilot ( fighter or commercial) and wear specs. You should have perfect eye sight for becoming a pilot. I am telling you this for sure because there was a time when i too wanted to become a pilot but i had specs, so i had to give up the idea. Now, other's are getting the chance to become pilot and take me from one place to other.
