I think you have an extremely tough lineup and the pitching staff of yours is young and talented. You also have the best closer in the game. I think you should do a few things such as trade either Robinson Cano or Brandon Phillips - both are GREAT 2B (offensively) and there is no use in 2 of the top 5 2B's in the league. I would pick up another SP probably b/c Kazmir could struggle simply b/c of the team he is on, Beckett is highly overrated IMO and his wins are based on the fact that his lineup is stacked but his ERA/WHIP was horrible last season, Lester who knows, and Willis could be getting figured out already (again who knows). If you cannot get a top SP for one of those 2 2B then throw in either Sheffield or Giambi (i say Giambi but thats b/c i HATE him).

Overall though you should compete for that top spot in your league. This would be my starting cast if i were you:

C: Joe Mauer
1B: Gary Sheffield
2B: Brandon Phillips
SS: Hanley Ramirez
3B: Miguel Cabrera
OF: Ken Griffey Jr.
OF: Carlos Lee
OF: Andruw Jones
Util: Jim Thome

SP: Daisuke Matsuzaka
SP: Matt Cain
SP: Chien Ming Wang
SP: Dontrelle Willis
SP: Scott Kazmir

RP: Akinori Otsusaka
RP: Brad Lidge

Closer: Francisco Rodriguez

Thats just me though.

You made all of the wrong decisions. Put Hanley Ramirez as primary SS, put Miguel Cabrera as primary 3B, and Jason Giambi as primary 1B. What were you thinking putting Gary Sheffield at that position? First of all, he's starting the season on OF for Detroit, and secondly, he sucks at 1B.

Your pitching staff is unproven also. That is a bad decision making Daisuke Matsuzaka your starter, that is one wrong decision, my friend. Dontrelle Willis is done for his career and Josh Beckett seems to never be improving. You've got absolutely no savers, except K-Rod when saves are the most important.

Truthfully, I rate it a 36.

The players who I believe will have good years--Giambi, Cano, Cabrera, Joe Mauer, Andruw Jones, Carlos Lee, Thome, Kazmir, Willis, Wang, Verlander, F. Rodriguez, Lidge and Otsuka. The rest of your players are average or below average.

It's difficult to rate your team because you have a lot of categories and roster complex. Your strengths are batting avg., saves, HR, and RBI. Your weaknesses are depth, wins, ERA, WHIP, SOs, runs and SBs. Overall I give your team an 78. I don't think you'll win your league.

10 team league ya team should be better. Rating 65. Too many question marks(Griffey,Lester,Dice K,Anderson,Beckett,Izturis). U should put Sheff in the of,Overbay @ 1st and Anderson or Griffey on the bench

You have to have Cabrera at third and Hanley at short. Unless you change those and a few other minor adjustments, I give your team a 67.
