Yes I would, little bastards the lot of them. Time was when the police would just give them a good leathering and be done with it, but now they aren't allowed to, parents aren't allowed to smack, it all messed up. Kids need a little fear in their life.

Yes the kid's today and not just the kid's people on the whole have lost they self's in this race to get the best and be the best. Instead of praising people when they do well they get envious and want what they got or more . We have become greedy and some time's heartless and forgot the real values of life' It's cost nothing to be polite or say good morning to a stranger or to ask the Little old lady next door if she's OK and need any help. But things have got so bad most decent people are afraid to even mix. Its a sad old world. We all have so much pressure to work ' look after the family ' we don't seem to make the time to just sit down and talk to find out what one and other or truly feeling' We seem to never ever sit and have a meal together its just eat and run. All this things are the fundamental things of life . If we can have some of the law put back in to parents hands and not have so much pressure of having to have 2 job's to keep home going' and be able to spend more time at home with our kids then may be we can turn it around. Till then God help the next generation .

This loss of values is happening to young and old alike. In general terms though, I exclude people over 60 from this statement.
Young people are not encouraged to be polite and they see this as a sign of weakness. They believe to project a threatening attitude is the way to get on in life. People are lazier now and tend to only do the least they can get away with. Again I am sure there are exclusions to this as there are still people that are willing to work for there position in life.
Young and old alike and this does include the over 60's, throw litter down and and wonder why their locality looks a mess.
I could go on but then the answer I give would become a long and boring diatribe.
Have a Happy Easter.

I would say young people (such as myself) are losing a lot of the values held by their parents and grandparents. Times are changing more rapidly than ever before (excluding perhaps the world wars). However, as old values are lost, new values arise. Civics, in fact, will be redefined. Time, I think, will tell what the new common values will be, but I would guess they would be more socially liberal, more future-oriented, more globally oriented, and less concerned with matters such as ettiquite, etc.

I have not lost my faith in mankind yet. I believe most people are good at heart and with a little guidance will do great things for others. I would say that the U.S. government has lost all sense of right and has grown into a monster that cannot be corrected. The only way to fix it is to flush it all away and start over. The government totally sucks.

Absolutely! In terms of sexual conduct, today's young people are behaving like wild animals. It seems almost as if we are evolving backwards as we completely loose touch with our moral values and what it means to be human.Confirmation of this is society's nauseating attitude towards homosexuality, pornography, prostitution, paedophilia, fornication, etc. These perverted practises are not only now acceptable, but it is taboo to be opposed to them!(I can just imagine all the cries of ''homophobe'' that will be pouring in now that I've made this statement.)And woe to any over 15 who are still virgins! The fact is,humanity has crossed the line. This time,we've gone too far.Morality is practically extinct. And a moral conscience is one of the things that makes us human. If we go around shagging like bunnies, acting on our sexual urges with no restraint,we are behaving like animals--not civillised people.Sex was created by God to be enjoyed within the bounds of marriage. If you go against that, then you are defiling and corrupting the sexual act. This goes against the will of God,and therefore it will have consequences. How much further will we allow society to deteriorate? It's time humanity got a wake up call.Otherwise we'll still be wondering ,a hundred years from now:
Whatever happened to the human race???

not everyone, but unfortunately many people i know are really losing many traditional values. While some traditional ones were rather too rigid, others such as the value of sex, of love, of responsability etc...are so important yet they are not getting the attention they deserve, and it is such a pity..

Yes I agree. All the PC nonsense, nobody must lose, or be upset, or be disciplined, has taught them they can do whatever they want and there won't be any comeback.

Children are reflections of their surroundings.

They see, they copy they do.

They don't just suddenly decide to be like that, they learn their behaviour.
