No, I can't say that I have but if a person did that to me, I would feel sad at first and then feel glad that they left because I wouldn't want to date a jerk like that anyway. A real man or woman would stay and want to get to know the real me. Try to think of this as a blessing because now you have a way of weeding out the a**holes from the truly kind people who are worth your time.

I've met and married two different men while confined to a wheelchair.
I know a woman born without arms or legs who is happily married, too, AND runs a successful business. ( http://www.2beadornot2bead.com/index.asp?PageAction=COMPANY )
The key is in finding men (or women) who aren't hung up on the stupid stuff. There are a lot of people out there who are really good at looking past the chair or the disability and seeing the human being.
I hope you find some of those people. :)

I was born short ugly and stupid but I still found someone to love me with all those defects and I had smelly feet too. If yo are up front with them and they run away they were not worth your time, your special in Gods eyes always remember that.

Maybe you should try waiting longer before you tell them. The thought of dating someone with a disability is very intimidating to a lot of people, especially if they don't understand the specific defect. Do you just drop it on them, or do you explain how it affects you. It could be how you tell them. I was born with bilateral club foot, which affects my heart in addition to my feet. It's definitely not something I bring up early in a relationship.

I'm sorry to hear that but guess it takes a person with lots of patient to be able to stand by you.
