Where? Never heard of it. Do you mean Madagascar?If so it's an island off the coast of Mozambique.A former French colony it was known as the Malagasy Republic.It has a mainly agricultural economy,rice and coffee being the main ones.It has in recent years developed an off shore oil industry.The capital is Antananarivo. The island has an area of approx. 587,041 sq.km. with a population of about 15 million.The island lies in the Indian Ocean.

Look at a map of Africa... down the bottom, to the east (right hand side!) is a big island. That's Madagascar.
