Rurouni Kenshin OVA, hands down. It's also known as Samurai X, but I'm quite sure the OVA is only known as Rurouni Kenshin. It is in four episodes, and it contains a good mix of all of what you're looking for. The OVA itself is a lot more realistic than the actual TV series, which tells the beginnings of Kenshin becoming a "Hitokiri", a Meiji-era assassin and the origins of the cross-shaped scar on his face.

CLAMP's X. Sometimes it's called X TV, more commonly X/1999. It's VERY bloody, VERY tragic, and a LOT of angst. Toss in a cupful of bishounen, and you've got a great story. Anime series is complete, but the manga hasn't been finished yet. ^__^ The manga is WAY better.

Bleach - it has blood, fighting, a lot of comedy and love innuendos. my opinion, it is by far the best anime i've seen
