Yes my best friend. You never realize how much a friend can help you out. People say friends come and go but I best friend will be with you in the hard times. The motivate you to excell in everything, they might not have your blood, but act as they where. There the closest thing you have after family.

Our house needed some electrical work done and when the guy arrived we got to talking. It turns out he's a refugee from Iraq (well originally he was, now he is a citizen) and he was one of the nicest people I've ever met in my entire life.
I'm not one of those ignorant people who assumes that EVERY Muslim is a terrorist or that EVERY person from the middle east is wanting me dead, but despite how much I already knew, he taught me so much more. I quickly learned to be even more grateful for the things that I was already grateful for; I learned that stupid arguments with family and friends just isn't worth it... after all, the chances of them being killed in front of me are slim compared to what they are in Iraq. I learned that the word freedom doesn't have to mean absolute freedom... the freedom to voice your opinion could be life changing for someone of their history. To speak and be heard, even if not accepted, is okay; they lack that option. I learned that I don't need millions of dollars to be a true millionaire... having my life, health, family and friends is what makes me a true millionaire.
My heart ached for him and his family who had to suffer while Sadam was in charge. The though of going out to get milk seems like no big deal, but yet for them, they never knew if their family would make it back from the market.
We're talking about hours of talk, so I'll spare a long drawn out reply to this question; but yes, I will forever view things differently now... even when I'm just going to the store to get milk. I was incredibly blessed to be able to talk and learn from this man.

Yes. A lot of people. It could be anyone at any moment. For me, it was parents, coaches, strangers. Everyone has a different perspective on different issues.
