If the prof is willing to do this (and i've known one who has (and ended up marrying the student))... if the prof is willing, there's something wrong with the prof, not to mention that for that person such a relationship is soooooo close to blatantly unethical that it should be considered unethical...

and for you to even think it's a good idea would be nuts, too.... any woman significantly older than you (if you're of average college age) who would *want* to date you would by necessity be emotionally damaged goods... you don't want to get into that!

I think it would be unethical because all teacher-student relationships are frowned upon in western societies and both of your reputations would be soiled. I think my writing professor from my freshman year is hot, but I would never tell him in a million years because he's got 10 years on me and I wouldn't want to ruin his credibility or mine. Whoever said that we shouldn't care about what other people think, must not have had his scholarship on the line.

It kinda is, but nowadays, it's slowly being introduced and accepted into society. It's easier to see a relationship between a college professor and her student, than a high school/ jr high school teach with her student. As long as there was nothing going on while you were in her class, and you know for sure you won't have her for another course, go for it if you think it's worth jeopardizing her job.

ethical unethical buuzzzz waaakkkk....who cares man, if you like her, go for it....especially when you are no more in her class, GOOO FOR IT MAN....

I had an affair when i was in school with my french teacher....my affair was dangerous bcs i was only 14, but we carried on....when i was studying in Gold Coast college, i fell in love with a cute professor, she was sooo hot tht sometimes i just cannot take it anymore....when i approached her and asked her out for a date, she said" only after you pass my class". When i passed my class, the first thing i did was i asked my hot professor out, well we had an affair for 3 years...totally in love...

Normally dating a professor who is teaching or still active with are not allowed to date students, its illegal but once you have no connection with her in classes, you are free do date...

After graduation I landed a job with HUGE company and when this one prof learned they would pay me more than she was making she left her husband. We stayed together prob a year or so, then I started Boinking my assistant

Once the class is over? As long as the college doesn't have a policy against it, you should be fine.
