I found out Vista does not support WEP(keep getting "limited access"). So my wireless connection is very unsafe. what can i do to protect it with Vista? i have MAC filtering right now. but i dont know how good that is. And my Linksys G router isnt the latest edtion so that new WPA isnt on it. Will WPA work on VISTA? if so how?

Windows Vista doesn't have anything to do with your WEP key. I should know since i have 2 comps running on this line atm.. mine which is wired and my wifes who is running wireless with a WEP key and i also have Mac Filter on.

What the H does Vista have to do with your wep key? This is put in your router! I guess you need a new router huh? WEP keys are only used in wireless routers.

I'd go to www.microsoft.com & get your free automatic updates of windows & microsoft including firewalls, etc. That should take care of everything. All the other info should be onsite.
