I am 26 years old and still get asked for ID not matter whether it be the Lottery, Alcohol etc...

I have to carry ID (Drivers License) everywhere and its getting to the point where it is embarrassing infront of my mates (they say they don't care. They just think its funny) or my hubby (he's really great about it, coz if he is with me he gives them stick and they won'tserve him coz they think he is buying it for me if I am with him) How annoying is that.

Any ideas how I can look my age (tried the usual things like) my hair different styles, different make-up technics and different make-up labels, different dressing styles. Still nothing.

Someone help Please.

Confidence, posture and attitude are a good start beyond that try looking sullen and miserable. Do you get into movies at the child price?

Girl friend! Put the makeup down right now! If you look younger than what you really are, smile and be very happy about it. Most of us have to wear Mary Kay to avoid age appearance. Hehe, but hey, if it comes natural to you then enjoy it and be gleeful about it. That is just awesome.

As for gettting ID'd, it is the law that someone asks you for identification no matter how old you actually look, when buying alcohol etc. Otherwise, the business can loose it's lisence and get in trouble.

Some waters/waitress, like to overdoe the ID thing quite a bit, while others welcome it as an opportunity to annoy the customers with it. So if there is this not so hot girl that is there to serve your table, and sees you with this super hot guy and figures that you are young and pretty because your skin is so fresh, yeah, she is probably going to want to ask you for your birth certificate and ID before sending you off with a happy smile and a margarita on the other hand. Hehe.

So therefore, do this:
1- Show them your ID

If they do not want to believe you, and begin to give problems then tell them,

"With all due respect, but I am whom my ID depicts in all its information. Under penalty of perjury in accordance to the laws of (name the state you live in), I (say your name and rise your right hand) certify that what I have told you is true.

If they continue to give you more problems, then ask to speak with the manager and offer to call your attorney, chances are you will leave with a drink before calling the FBI on these people.

Haha! I hope this helps, enjoy your drinks.

You are still relatively young. As you get older, you will love it more and more. You can bet your last dollar on that.
