I am and have been for a lot of years....not so I won't have to be alone....but because he is self destructive and everyone else in both our families has turned their backs on him.I would not advise anyone else to do that. Sometimes it's better to be alone than to be trapped in a loveless situation.

No! It's worse being with someone you don't want, than being alone! Being alone gives you free choices! I hate kissing someone in order to have a bf! I have done it in the past and started feeling sickness every time I was seeing him!

If I truly thought that my only other choice was to be alone, then I suppose it would be possible as long as it wasn't someone that I couldn't stand.

...No way...Id rather be alone....I know people who do that and I just feel sad for them...I reckon I have really grown as a person spending time on my own and not diving into relationship after relationship...Ive never been one to settle for second best anyway...

luckily i donthave to worry about this since i have the one that i love. but if the situation arose where i was down and almost out, i might be able to be with someone who made things easier
