It is exceptionally true about my husband. When he asked me, "How's your day?". Before I could finish telling my frustration at work, he jumps in and start talking about his story and i ended up listening instead of getting his attention to listen! Men just wouldn't listen. What is wrong with men!!!

We are from mars remember; you should tell him next time that you very much need him to listen to you talk about your frustrations at work and for him not to say anything or give advise. I have learned that women just want to be heard and then they are good to listen to you.

What's wrong with women is that they just keep on and on and on. Be quiet, let your husband speak or let him have peace and quiet. That's the thing about women, they harp and constantly have to talk about their "feelings". Do you know all the responsibilities your husband has? The weight he is carrying around on his shoulders? What his day has been like? The worrying about making ends meet? Give your guy a break! Ease up!

It's a guy thing. Even in my advanced age, I still do it, but I try real hard to listen as well as I can and respond truthfully to what a woman says to me. My ex was so full of good things to say, I would take notes. Really, I did.

He was being kind. But most likely when you got into telling your story, he'd already lost interest. Or you got long winded & he cut you off. Men DO NOT like listening to long drawn out explanations or stories. Like bad medicine, feed him a conversation in small doses.
I tune my wife out all the time. When her gums get to flappin', all I hear is "blah, blah, blah."

Men are awful, my husband would ask the same, and he expect me to say one word : fine! , so I never really talk to him about anything, I just write in my diary.

its a man thing i know i go though it to he asks a question and i answer it and then he will ask it again the next day and i get mad because i already told him and he just says sorry i don't remember and then when i stop telling him things he gets all mad because i don't want to talk to him its not that i don't want to talk to him its just a waist of my time

what the hell is wrong with women?women always want men to listen to what happened to them but when men try to tell them about their day women shut them down,in my opinion women are the ones who don't listen.
