sounds like you are now you need to try and work out why. There is something in your life you are not happy with. What do you want out of life. What job do you want to be doing, what kind of people do you want to be around.
I had depresssion 2 years ago i would have been the same age. I finally went to the docs and he arrange for me to talk to someone, i realised i felt like i was in a rut not going anywhere and hated the thought of every day being like this.
I set myself goals, small ones at first like everyday go for a small walk, i dont know why but exercise really helps with these feelings, also strange but gives your more energy.
i then made a real effort wrang up my cousin went out a few times with her, i wasnt much fun at first infact i was rubbish company but the more you make the effort you dont realise but things change.
I then started to go out on a weekend with my brother and his girlfriend and started to talk to people while i was out.
I have not made any real friends as i to find it hard to get close to people but recently i met someone we are taking it slow i told him all about my past and how i feel and he is willing to just wait and move as slowly as i need to.
Things wont always be like this. first figure out what you want to change then if you really want it you are going to have to make the effort and do it. If i can believe me you can

I am a Registered Nurse and would like to help with your question. After reading what you posted I would advise you to seek a doctor to talk to about what you are feeling. I think it would benifit you and the problems you are facing. some of the symptoms for depression are wieght gain, felling tired all the time, don't enjoy the things you used too, difficulty sleeping ect ect the list goes on. If you wanted more information you could go to WebMD and search their info about depression. Exercise may have been suggested because it releases endorphines that highten your mood. I am sure you have heard people say how good they feel after they work out. Seek a doctor's help with this.

Go ahead and make an appointment with your doctor - tell him/her what you just told us.

In the meantime, it won't hurt for you to take a good multivitamin and get some exercise.

Good luck, it's no fun at all being depressed, and you will be amazed at how different you will feel once you get some help.

I used to sleep only 2 hours a night for 2 whole months and it was driving me to not think right.
YOu have to find ways to not be in your own head.
Distractions.
anything that your eyes will follow or look at will keep thoughts out.
go on a drive, a walk, anything outside everyday.
exercize
get interested in something , even if it seems to not matter or make money.
once you look outward, your problems stop and normal good life starts. If you stay inside and lay in bed, you will go negative and get very sick in your head.
get outside

Go see your doctor for help.

Maybe you have depression or social anxiety.

I've had both before.

Add me to MSN if you want, so we can talk about it.

Hope you get better soon.

You have got to agenda an appointment along with your physician. They will likely be capable to support you or refer you to any individual who can. Your anxiousness looks to be ruling your lifestyles. You ought to search support.
