i'm in love with this japanese guy, I'm half filipino-half chinese with good values and a decent profession. I'm plannning to proceed with taking up medicine and learn japanese language as well but will his japanese family accept me or are they racist in general?

i think they will approve you unless their family is conservative and wants a Japanese girl also.

Some of the Japanese have problems with Koreans, and there are political issues between Japan and China and some lingering issues over WWII.
But if they're decent people who love their son then they should accept you for the way you are.

Just be very conscious of their culture and religion, and be very respectful of them and you should be ok. They are a very honour bound people. Just the fact that you have done so much with your life so far should impress them immensely. Do whatever you can to prove to them that you are worthy of their family member.

Hard to say, if you are western girl, I think his family not east to accept foreign girls , because they are thinking you are character open's western women.
