What the heck is this? Folding at home? I fold at home all the time. In fact I am folding my laundry at home right now!

I have it running on several computers. It is a screen saver that runs a protein folding algorithm in the background when nothing else is using CPU. Preliminary reports are that the results of the research are promising. Linked together across the Internet this constitutes a virtual super computer. One problem is that some anti-virus and anti-spy ware may flag it as a danger.

I think it's a waste of time, energy, and PS3. The PS3 is for gaming purposes only why should I burn it out for nothing?
