I already told him (thrice too) that we'd be better off as friends. I feel that I should cut our communication so that he won't be hurt because of his feelings for me, I only see him as my friend nothing more than that. I don't want to see him hurt because I know he's been hurt for how many times in his life (not only in terms of his lovelife but also with his family) I'm confused guys and gals, hope someone could help. Thanks.

see gab you need to convince him to a personal discussion about the matter and make him understand your feelings to him about friendship. These type of guys are somelike emotional. You must not be rude or cut communication as it may adversely effect him and bring problems later. Tell him that you cannot be his love in any way. every time you meet him you must remind him in anyway that you are only his friend. keep this on for sometime. i`m sure it will result well. bye.

He might be one of those guys who was hurting more when he had not told you of his love for you than your response. I think you are truly annoyed by his feelings for you. You could blow him off, but he will never carry the weight of not telling you ever again.

There a 3 possibilities. 1) You could come to your senses; 2) He cannot be your friend because he loves you and 3) He moves on.

you are really not confused you know what you need to do, you feel guilt but it is not your fault. He is not going to change so the best thing is quite with you two. let him go so he can get over it sooner than later. What is going to happen when you find a Bo? he will be even more confused, so the sooner you let him know the sooner he can get on with his life, and stop wishing and hoping something will happen between you and him. False hope is hard.. And total devistation is harder, offer tohelp him findsomeone if it makes you feel better, but he will just be more attracted to you.

Well, the fact that he's been hurt throughout his life kinda complicates things, but you aren't responsible for his happiness, even though you might want to help. Tell him again that you like him as a friend and that him asking you repeatedly to be allowed to love you will only destroy your current relationship. Keep doing things with him but invite groups of people so he doesn't feel like you invited him on a date. Have fun and enjoy as much as you can. I hope it helps!

I'm not sure how to answer this, but I have an excellent friend that I tried to hold her hand and bring it to another level with and she said, "what are you doing?" and peeled my hand off. In response, I told her I won't do it again and I haven't confessed my feelings more than once to her. We're still great friends.

If he can't respect your friendship then he's only with you for one thing. Make it clear to him that not only do you want to remain friends, but attach a condition that he needs to stop confessing his feelings or you will be forced to remove yourself from the relationship. Don't destroy the friendship at first, but give him a choice to destroy it himself.

I see you have a male avatar and you're asking questions about a male coming on to you,
Also, you're using the word 'thrice'.
This question would be better posted in the Gay section.
-----------

I see you've added a "female" avatar now.
So if you're really a girl, let me help you out:
NOBODY says 'thrice'.

just keep him as a friend., you will hurt him just the same if youll completely leave the friendship. try to keep some distance but make sure that you are still a friend. dont be too sweet for he might think that you like him. you can do it! :(

i dont think u shd be bothered abt his being hurt in his life. It is not always th. he is hurt bcos of u, and if u hv no feelings for him, then u shd try to avoid him. but if he is very much unavoidabble, try to minimise ur talk with him and if he talks abt his feelings again, give him a warning not to do it again. u can maintain a hi- bye relationship with him bt beyond th. wl be difficult for u.
