Currently, i have 4 drawf hamsters (all females) which each of them is living alone. This because from my past experience, almost everytime when put together, they will fight. but right now, they are like so lonely. So i am thinking maybe i can put 2 in a cage to let them enjoy the company. so is dere a way to reduce the risk of fighting when put together?

Pet Stores get away with having a ton of hamsters together because they're all very young. Once the hamsters get older, they will get agressive and territorial...no pretty...

With Dwarfs, it's a little bit different, if you get them young and put them together, they usually get along just fine, but they have to be very young. Every once in a while, you can put them together when they're a little older, but not often at all.

If you want to try to put them together...
Clean out a cage to get rid of any hamster scents...
Take both of the hamsters and introduce them in a nutral territory..(empty bath tub usually works well)..
Place them both in the tub at the same time...
Watch how they react...if the start fighting, then you may want to separate them...but if the fighting isn't to ruff, them try to let them settle it for a few moments...
If they settle down or don't really fight at all, then try to put them into the cage together...
Just keep an eye on them...they may get a little ruff, but it's nothing to worry about unless they get worse or don't stop....

...It could really goeither way with dwarfs...Good Luck with it...Hope this helps!!!

Unless Hamsters are born together they should not be put together or you may have fighting and injury even resulting in death. Hamsters should each have their own cages. It is really a wonder they will even mate as they do not like to be around other hamsters.
