My boyfriend and I are going to the USA next year on vacation but he got a DUI 4 years ago. Does he need to get a pardon??? We're really not sure. Any help would be great!

You haven't given enough information.

Where did he get the DUI? How was it resolved?

Does he plan to drive in the U-S? What sort of driver's license will he use if he does?

If he has a valid driver's license that is legal in the U-S, and if he is not considered a criminal in his home country he would not need a pardon. If he is planning on immigrating a felony conviction could be a problem but if it is just a vacation you shouldn't have a problem.

Oh, if you do come it would be a good idea for him to avoid driving drunk.

Is he still wanted for the DUI? He's not banned from the country just because of a DUI, especially if he dealt with it. If he never dealt with it, there still may be a warrent out for him, but it's highly doubtful, and it will probably only be out in his old state.
