three people have actually broke it:
a soldier during tribute to the troops 2006
ron simmons (aka farooq) during an episode of RAW
and bobby lashley on RAW march 19, 2007 edition
however, bobby lashley was the first to break it w/out interference, so he can be considered the 1st to break the masterlock

Nope it is not actually Bobby Lashley. The first person to break the Masterlock Challenge was actually an Iraqi soldier on an episode of Tribute to the Troops (RAW) in Iraq. But there was interference involved.
Then there was Ron Simmons on an episode of RAW that broke it also, but that resulted from interference too.
Bobby Lashley is the first person to actually break the Masterlock officially without help from someone or other interferences.

Officially, Bobby Lashley. But I remember Cena breaking it when he ran Masters into the ringpost back in November. Right before Survivor Series I think.

Bobby Lashley was the first to do it interference free, a soldier was the first to do it in the tribute to the troops last year but Masters got a note from Vince McMahon saying that it didn't count.
